Certificate IV in Dental Assisting

With a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting qualification, you will be able to provide an advanced level of chair-side assistance to the operator.
Develop further your oral health knowledge to include advanced communication skills, implementation of oral health promotion programs, implementing and monitoring infection control policy and procedures, and occupational health and safety within your dental surgery.

Students completing this diploma may gain entry and obtain advanced standing in university degree programs. The amount of credits will depend on the course and university.
We have two intakes in February or July.

Successful completion of Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent is required.
Applicants must be currently working as a Dental Assistant for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
