Working in our dental laboratory will give you practical skills in making models and custom impression trays, constructing oral splints, making dentures, and constructing and repairing dental appliances.

Students completing this diploma may gain entry and obtain advanced standing in university degree programs. The amount of credits will depend on the course and university.
Graduates of the diploma who are registered as a dental technician in Queensland with at least two years of relevant work experience are eligible to apply for entry into Griffith University's Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Technology (post registration).
Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent with a Sound Achievement in English is required.
Non school-leavers are selected according to eligibility and merit, vocational experience, previous study and personal competencies.
All applicants will be required to sit an entry exam and manual skills test.
