The University of the Sunshine Coast gives graduates of TAFE Queensland Brisbane (South Bank campus) Diploma of Laboratory Technology direct entry into and advanced standing toward their Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and the Bachelor of Bio Medical Science. USC intends to delivery both degrees from campus at South Bank from 2015.
Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University give graduates of TAFE Queensland Brisbane (South Bank) diploma program bonus points towards tertiary entrance ranks bringing their rank to 87 (approximately equivalent to OP 8). Graduates may also be eligible for academic credits on admission to the university and degree program of their choice.
Due to the high-level content of this course, competency in mathematics, science and English (equivalent to Year 10 or above) are highly desirable but not a requirement.
