Diploma Of Nursing (Enrolled Division 2 Nursing)

Course Overview
This course is designed for people who would like to become Division 2-enrolled-nurses. You do not need an ATAR score but must complete a VETASSESS test in order to be considered for this course. Nurses who either have a Certificate IV or are hospital trained and would like to gain the diploma can also apply.

What employment opportunities will I have?
A range of exciting enrolled / Div II nursing positions in all practice settings: acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation, mental health, aged care, palliative care, community care, GPs, home nursing, pathology, paediatric, maternity.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed to show that you have achieved the skills and knowledge required by the course. Assessment may include written, oral or practical assessment methods. You will also be assessed while on placement. There are four rotations of placement during the diploma course.

• Applicants must be over the age of 18.
• Current nurses wishing to upgrade their qualification must apply online and ensure they tick the Skills Recognition (RPL) box. Information will then be emailed.
• New students must undertake the VETASSESS Literacy and Numeracy test (www.vetassess.com.au). If the scores are suitable, the applicant will be interviewed in a small group setting and offers will be sent out at least one month before the course commencement date.
