The course has been developed by leading wound management experts with extensive and current experience in wound management across a diverse range of health care settings. The course will provide health care professionals with a solid theoretical foundation for contemporary wound care practice. Students are also provided with an opportunity to explore topics of interest or specialty practice from a range of elective units. The course is delivered part-time and almost entirely online enabling enrolments to be accepted from students Australia-wide. Entry into this courses requires an undergraduate degree in one of the following health professions: nursing, podiatry, physiotherapy or medicine; along with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
