The Graduate Diploma in Wound Care builds on the foundational content of the Graduate Certificate and offers health professionals an opportunity to gain a detailed understanding of different aspects of wound management.
Students are able to expand their knowledge and skills in specific wound care specialties depending on their discipline or area of interest. Students are expected to attend a compulsory one-week residential (on-campus) study block to participate in a series of practical workshops and wound clinic observations.
This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills to enable health professionals to effectively manage acute and chronic wounds. The course builds on the Graduate Certificate in Wound Care, and students have the opportunity to undertake elective units relevant to their area of practice.
