HealthX is dedicated to providing and building long term sustainable nursing solutions to regional and remote Australia.

In keeping with this longstanding tradition of solving nursing shortages in regional and remote areas, HealthX is excited to be partnering with CQUniversity to offer the first HealthX Rural Re-entry to Nursing Scholarship.

Valued at $3000, the scholarship is available to a nursing student enrolled at CQU through their distance education program; living in a regional or rural area; and who expresses enthusiasm to re-enter the nursing profession.

HealthX CEO Carollyne Palling encouraged all nursing students enrolled through CQU to check their eligibility.

“HealthX has been placing nurses into work and building capacity in rural and regional areas for nearly 10 years and is delighted to be able to assist with the training of Australia’s future regional nurses,” Carollyne said.

“In particular, being able to offer assistance to a long-distance nursing student who can greatly benefit from travel or accommodation financial support, will be extremely rewarding.

“We place great importance on having a generous spirit of service and HealthX is thrilled to be offering this scholarship for the first time.”

The deadline for applications closes in late June 2017 with the successful recipient announced in August 2017.
