The need for home care in Australia is growing faster than ever before, as more seniors choose to age in their own homes.

To meet this demand, the government’s most recent budget provided $1.6 million to fund 23,000 additional home care packages, and an additional $1 billion in the 20-21 MYEFO. Yet the demand is still growing, with well over 90,000 people waiting for their package.

FEATURED JOBS

As we continue to grow, we are offering highly motivated health care professionals an opportunity to partner with us as franchisees, with an initial investment as low as $25,000 for the right candidate.

The HomeCaring partnership

HomeCaring offers a unique 50/50 joint venture partnership which reduces your initial investment by 50% and provides 50% of ongoing profits.

We also provide along a salary package that removes the pressure of paying the bills and allows you to focus on the business in its critical stage of growth.

This means our partners are able to actually enjoy the satisfaction that comes from building a successful business with plenty of heart.

This was certainly the case for Claire Zhang, a registered nurse who grew her HomeCaring business in Sydney’s south-west to a team of 20 support workers with over 40 clients in just eight months, and is now opening the doors to her first SDA (specialist disability accommodation) home.

“I was comparing HomeCaring’s advertisement with other companies that offered similar business opportunities, and I found that HomeCaring had a far more reasonable and detailed plan, in terms of offering a 50/50 joint venture,” says Claire.

“The most rewarding part is being able to see improvement with a clients’ progress, or receiving a compliment,” she adds. “I have found the job that I love to do.

The best thing about owning my own home care business is that I can work flexible hours … this is what I enjoy, I can work at 10pm just as easily as 8am in the morning.”

Dr Paul Masterman, a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in public hospitals and private practice, also enjoyed a sense of satisfaction when he started his own HomeCaring business.

“Overall, it’s been a positive experience to take the time and do it this way. Connecting into the care community has also been great,” he says.

“There was a fair amount of excitement and apprehension around starting up a new business, but I had lots of support from the team. The model was well fleshed out, and I enjoyed the challenge of a new learning curve.”

And the emotional rewards have been plenty. “There are moments where you’ll call a client and they’ll say we’re so lucky to have Callum coming around, or they’ll say, ‘it’s so good to be getting out in the community, I haven’t done it in six months,’” says Paul.

“A favourite part of the job is having the client come back and say their experience was a good one, that they’re getting the help they want. That’s what it’s all about.”
