The Federal Government has subsidised natural health courses at Endeavour College for the first time, with two new undergraduate courses discounted by thousands of dollars as part of the COVID-19 Higher Education Relief Package.
The College, which is the largest private higher education provider of natural medicine courses in Australia, received 70 Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) for two short online courses created to help workers upskill or retrain in the wake of the pandemic.

With health considered a national priority, many of the courses approved under the CSP program fall in this area including Endeavour College’s new
Undergraduate Certificate in Human Biology and
Undergraduate Certificate in Building Health Through Nutrition.
“We designed these courses to help enhance job prospects and pave new career paths in the health sector, with doctors and nurses among those expected to benefit most from obtaining a more comprehensive understanding of human nutrition. An undergraduate certificate in human biology is a great way to add value to an existing job or offer a pathway into a Health Science degree or another medical, nursing or allied health qualification,” Endeavour College of Natural Health Director of Education Dr Andrea Bugarcic said.
With government subsidised places traditionally offered to universities, Dr Bugarcic said the placements were testament to the quality of education available at the College.
“It’s the first time Endeavour College has received government-subsidised places and to have two of our undergraduate courses approved really validates the work we do in the field of health science. These subsidised places are a one-off opportunity to access heavily discounted higher education which may have previously been out of reach,” she said.
Under the CSP scheme, eligible students can save around $4,000 per course – a discount of more than 60 per cent – as long as study is completed by the end of the year.
The CSP program falls under the government’s Higher Education Relief Package which is aimed at supporting workers displaced by the COVID-19 crisis to upskill or retrain, while also helping higher education providers continue teaching.
With micro-credentials and self-care emerging as new trends in higher education, Endeavour College has also launched its first
Undergraduate Certificate in History and Philosophy of Complementary Medicine for anyone with a general interest in the field, and a new
Undergraduate Certificate in Lifestyle Coaching, which is expected to benefit anyone wanting to delve deeper into the wellness industry, including influencers, as well as for personal health education and self-care support. Both can be completed online in six months and FEE-HELP has been made available.
